United 4 - 0 Crystal Palace

Another four goals scored....it's getting boring now. Hah! Like we'd ever get bored of seeing United scoring goals for fun. It was an easy game in reality. We scored inside the first three minutes and that was that for Palace. They came to Old Trafford with their confidence at rock bottom; the last thing they needed was to concede so early. The result was never in doubt from our first goal on and we could have easily scored six today.

Our back-four protected our goalie superbly once again. This was our sixth PL clean sheet this season, an excellent record. It is also good to see that when Bailly is not playing, we can always count on Smalling. But I trust the Jones-Bailly partnership more. Young produced yet another assist, his third in a week if I'm not mistaking. Mata scored his first of the season after some excellent work from Rashford. The latter was also involved in another goal and hit the post. I was a tad disappointed not to see Martial start today after last Wednesday's performance, but it only took Rashford three minutes to justify Mou's decision to start him.

Mkhitaryan was unusually quiet today and Lukaku didn't have a great day but still managed to score. Matic was solid but a tad careless in his passing. Our man of the match was Maroune Fellaini. He's not a player that dictates play in the middle of the pitch but he's always effective. He also manages to score a few goals every season. He got a brace today, which brings his total for this season to 4 goals in 6 games. He's already scored as much as he did last season and the season before it. Great to hear the Old Trafford crowd acknowledge his contribution today too. Well played Fella!

International break next. Good timing, maybe Pogba can recover in time for the Liverpool game. We'll be playing the Scousers at Anfield in a fortnight. It will no doubt be our toughest test so far. Winning there will send a big statement, especially now that City have just outclassed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and sent a huge statement themselves. We are joint-leaders with City but let's be honest, City have had tougher fixtures so far. Anyway, can't wait for the 14th October. That game will really show us where we're at. Come on United!
