United 2 - 0 Bolton

Van der Sar;
Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra;
Ronaldo (Nani 80), Fletcher, Anderson (Scholes 71), Park;
Tevez (Rooney 71), Berbatov

Finally we're back to winning ways thanks to a good performance by the United players and 2 goals by Ronaldo and Rooney. Ronaldo scored from a penalty, which in my opinion, wasn't a penalty at all but I guess lady luck smiled at us for the first time this season. Rooney scored a gem of a goal and I doubt we'll get to see a better finish than that at Old Trafford this season. I'm glad he stopped his goal draught for United.

Bolton never really troubled United except for one moment when Muamba should have scored from an ideal position. The match stats are a good indication of what the match was about; United attacking with no luck. It's been a while since United had 20 odd shots on target, 10 of them from Ronaldo. He had a good game today although most of his tricks didn't work but at the end of the day he made a penalty, scored it and made an assist. That's what we expect from him. Both Tevez and Berbatov had a quiet match although the latter showed some glimpses of quality during the second half. The substitutes Rooney and Scholes had a great impact on the match, the former scored a great goal while Scholes sought openings with breathtaking long balls and passes.
Our next match is vs Aalbord in the Champions league. A win is imperative if we want to defend our title of European Champions.

Until next time. Utdtillidie
