United 1 - 0 Everton

VDS
Neville(Brown) Rio Vida O'Shea
Ronaldo Carrick Fletcher(Giggs) Park
Tevez Berbatov

After the highs of last Tuesday I was pretty disappointed with this performance. It lacked the kind of attacking football United played against WBA. Berbatov and Fletcher were poor but Rio and Vida were once again terrific. I liked Tevez's contribution although he should have scored from an ideal position. I would give my man of the match to Carrick though. His passing and tackling were spot on and he managed to win a penalty and should have been given another. Ronaldo converted from the spot.

Meanwhile another cleansheet in the bag which means that VDS broke another record.

I have just watched Liverpool trash Chelsea aside. It was a great performance by the Scousers and I guess the match against them at Old Trafford in March will be pivotal in determining where the league title goes.

Next match vs West Ham. I hate that ground, we haven't won there for the past 2 seasons. I hope history doesn't repeats itself.

United are too big to have their fate decided by match statistics. I have confidence that we'll do well against the Hammers. The lads know now no one can ruin the party accept for themselves.

well said Ulrik but whenever United go to that stadium, bad luck seems to follow. Remember last year we were winning 1-0 then Ronaldo missed a penalty and Westham scored 2 late goals and won?
Oliver can you please email me ref your recent link request.

Have you heard this one:: A Manchester United groundsman has revealed how he once found one of the club's stars sunbathing on the pitch under the UV lights used to help the grass grow at the Theatre of Dreams.
