Dynamo Kiev 2 - 4 United

The Line Up:
VDS
Brown Rio Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Anderson O' Shea Giggs
Rooney Tevez

Another win in the Champions League, this time away to Dynamo Kiev. It was an exceptional performance up front, a real joy to watch. So we scored another 4 goals, the third successive game United have struck four goals. This proves that our attack has improved and at last it is working after witnessing a lot of 1-0 wins. Ferdinand opened the score sheet , Rooney bagged another while Ronaldo scored two, one of them coming from the spot.

From the first minute, United looked like they were up for the job, that of winning and virtually guaranteeing a place in the second round of this competition. Ferdinand opened the score with a superb header, his second goal in a week. United continued to flow and were dangerous on several occasions until a great build up lead to Brown square passing the ball to Rooney, with the latter scoring a tap in. The players made the build up look so easy! Dynamo got back into the game with a header by one of their players. To be honest the United defence had a major fault, they left the Dynamo player unmarked. Then it was time for Giggs to remind us how good he really is, especially after his recent dip in form in the Premier League. He made a breathtaking run and produced an immaculate cross which Ronaldo finished superbly. The first half came to an end, the best 1st half performance from United this season. Hands down.

The second half was more entertaining since Dynamo offered some resistance to United. In fact Dynamo were dangerous on a couple of occasions but it was United that were the best team on the pitch. Some fine link ups between Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez pleasured all United fans and finally we got our 4th. This time it was from the penalty spot, with Ronaldo scoring his second of the game. Dynamo kept the game alive with a great goal by Ismael Bangoura, Van Der Sar should have done better but I guess he was injured since later he got substituted by Kuschak.

Another win and suddenly I feel like United could do what they did last year, but even better! After the slow start to the season, and some boring matches in the process, United finally seem to have gelled. What is so great about this night’s win is that it is an away win, something we failed to do last season in nearly all away Champions League fixtures apart from the Lille and Benfica games. Anyway now United need to focus on the Premier League, and try to decrease the margin between them and Arsenal. They won 7-0 this evening, a really impressive scoreline. Their next match is agains Liverpool at Anfield, so I hope points are dropped there. Anyway our next match is vs Middlesbrough, a win with a couple of goals will do. Obviously, I want my beloved United to win, but winning in style is always a pleasure. Who would deny that?
