Finally! A Manchester United win! It's been a while. Today's game was no stroll in the park, we had a few scares including Swansea's goalie almost equalising at the end of the game but thankfully we managed to hold on to our lead. I thought we deserved the win. United were better than Swansea just like we were better than Chelsea last Monday.

Our wing play was good once again. Young was terrific and Martial managed to score one and create another. For me, Young was the man of the match. Swansea just couldn't deal with him as he delivered one splendid cross after another into the box. Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin also had a good game in front of our defence. Martial's goal wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for Schweinsteiger putting pressure on Swansea's defenders. Well played.

It's also great to see Rooney on the scoresheet again. I'm not sure when he last scored a goal but he took his goal brilliantly today. He was quite good against Chelsea too so hopefully LVG's decision to put him on the bench for Stoke's game has spurred him to do better. Let's hope he has a better year in front of goal. His Man Utd goals record during 2015 was appalling.

I'm pleased and also relieved. I'm sure LVG is feeling the same. We needed this win to bring back some belief among our players. Having said that, we only just beat Swansea; a side that is 2 points above the relegation zone. This side scored, hit the post and had a couple of chances to level during the game so there's definitely room for improvement from our players. We shouldn't be giving average sides so many chances, especially at Old Trafford.

It's the FA Cup next. Hopefully we can go on a good run in this competition. It's probably our only realistic chance of winning silverware this season.
