United 4 - 0 Norwich

Lindegaard
Rafael Rio Vidic Buttner
Zaha(Rooney) Cleverley(Anderson) Jones Young
Chicharito Januzaj(Fabio)

Jones pulled off a decent volley and an even better facial expression
Moyes seems to be getting the hang of squad rotation as he made 9 changes to the side that beat Stoke on Saturday and still managed to beat a Premier League side. Our starting XI had the right blend of youth and experience and it was pleasant to see our boys win the game so convincingly. Our players were in total control of the game and the result was never in doubt.

Chicharito got a brace, Jones hit home a lovely volley and Fabio scored the fourth during stoppage time. The Brazilian scored with his first touch of the ball. Not bad.

Excellent Adanan

There wasn't a player out there who didn't have a good game today. The back four were solid, our central midfielders huffed and puffed to keep Norwich off the ball, the wingers proved to be a nuisance to Norwich's fullbacks and our strikers were effective. With a couple of goals under his name, you'd expect me to name Chicharito as my man of the match but I was really impressed by Januzaj. Jesus what a player he is. I can't believe an 18 year old could have so much self confidence. He was all over the pitch, picked out some decent passes and wasn't afraid to try his luck from outside the box. He was quite close to scoring on a couple of occasions. They say that if you're good enough, you're old enough. This guy is already capable of holding a starting place in this United side. I just can't wait to see Adnan develop into the world-class player he is obviously capable of becoming.

We've finally got to see Zaha play a competitive match for United. I thought he was really good on the right. He made one or two incorrect decisions but that's perfectly understandable. He's still young and was under pressure to perform and impress Moyes. Based on today's performance, I can't see why Moyes should keep him out of the 18 man squad for our upcoming games. Maybe he's not starting XI material yet but he's surely capable of coming on as a sub. Speaking of subs, I don't know why Roo was put on instead of Zaha today. We were cruising, so that was quite a bizarre decision by our manager. We did score another two when Roo was on the pitch, the second was beautifully assisted by Wayne himself, but Moyes took an unnecessary risk of Roo picking up a niggling injury today.

Overall I'm delighted. The fans demanded that Moyes' players play like Fergie's boys and play like Fergie's boys they did. That was more like it! Well done United. Fulham next.
