United 3 - 0 Wolves

United won easily against a depleted Wolves side today. A penalty converted by an out-of-form Rooney, a powerful header by Vidic and a lovely volley by Valencia gave United the much needed three points. We are now joint leaders of the Premier League, however, the other team sharing top spot, Chelsea, have a game in hand.

United, without playing particularly well, managed to do enough to win this match. I was impressed by DeLaet who had a good game while Welbeck's eye for goal is encouraging. Kuschcak did well when asked to. He's a great goalie and I'm glad Fergie has finally realised this. Berbatov, who stated that he wants to keep playing with beauty and grace, managed to set up Valencia for the 3rd goal with a stunning flick. The guy's ability and technique is unquestionable but still, he isn't a prolific scorer! Therefore I still want Fergie to splash the cash on a striker come January.

A good game and a good win. Now we hit the road that takes us to Fulham. I think it will be a tough match. Fulham are more than capable of causing an upset. It's never easy playing at Craven Cottage so I guess United will get out of London with a narrow win. I'll go for 1-0 scoreline. I hope last year's dreadful performance isn't repeated.
