Burnley 0 - 2 United

Young Bailly Blind Darmian
Herrera Fellaini Pogba(Carrick)
Lingard(Rashford) Martial(Mhki) Rooney

I expected a tough day at Burnley (they've won 10 games at home - more than we did!) but United were really professional today and managed to get yet another away win. It was an efficient display by our boys who managed to put United in a very comfortable position before half time. We barely shifted to second gear during the second half as Bailly and co defended the lead and got us the three points.

With Ibra injured and Rashford sat on the bench, this was a very good chance for Martial to impress our manager and, I think, he managed to do just that. He scored a superb goal but it was his tireless running that should have really made Jose happy. Him and Bailly were our best players today.

It was also good to see Roo get back into the side and also score. He worked hard and I thought he was OK. Won't be anywhere near the starting XI vs City this Thursday though. Pogba had a good game and so did Fellaini. The Belgian did give a few stupid fouls away but managed to mark Ashley Barnes out of the game. Barnes is usually Burnley's best player so that was a job well done by Fellaini.

Our back four did well. Bailly was an absolute beast at the back blocking everything that came his way. He was limping at the end of the game, hopefully it's nothing too serious.

We've got a crucial game vs. City coming up this Thursday. A win will give us a very good chance of finishing in the top 4 and achieving one of our targets this season. A loss will make it virtually impossible to achieve this feat. City, just like us, haven't been setting the world alight at home and we've got a very good away record this season. Hopefully it will be another good away day in the Premier League. Come on United!

p.s
How about this for a fact? United have now not conceded a shot on target for two consecutive games in the PL against Chelsea & Burnley.
