Blackburn 1 - 1 United

Ronaldo Scholes Carrick Giggs
Rooney Tevez

This was a game were United played against a good Blackburn team plus Rob Styles. The ref could have given United 3 penalties but failed to do so and to add insult to injury, Brad Friedel had one heck of a game. I bet there were demons between the Blackburn posts, the ball simply could not go in just until Tevez headed home.

The first half performance was quite poor, but United upped the tempo in the last 20 minutes of the match when we literally took over the Blackburn half. Ronaldo hit the post, Rooney had a good attempt saved, a Blackburn player handed the ball in the penalty area, another fouled Ronaldo in the penalty area and once the ball which seemed destined to the back of the net stopped on the GOAL LINE! It was simply unbelievable and I thought our title bid was going down the drain. To be honest if it wasn’t for Tevez’s goal, our title bid would have been seriously tattered. Anyway a 1-1 draw and the title is all ours to lose. Who knows, maybe Tevez just won us the title.

No one played well until the 70th minute but there was a player who really tested my patience. I’m referring to Ryan Giggs. OK, he has been a great servant to our club but with all due respect, I believe his time is up. United played better with Nani, and Ferguson should realise that he should pick up the starting 11 with his head rather than his heart. Scholes, another old boy, didn’t have the best of games but his flicked header set up Tevez to score the goal. Ronaldo seemed to be quiet, too quiet for his standard. He is human after all! Rooney seems to have hurt his hip so he is liable to miss our next match. A positive out of this match is that Vidic is back ahead of the Barca contest.

Our next match is away to Barcelona. A clash between two European giants, it’s time to show why we are referred to as a European giant. I hope we contain Barca and even get that vital away goal.
One last point to ponder, I still believe United will win the league, the thing is, they may have already killed me when they get their hands on the EPL trophy. I can't believe I never had a heart attack because of United. God forbid.

Come on United!

Ryan Giggs is a Legend, you should be thanking him for his loyal service to the club instead of criticizing him.
We're still in the driving seat, and I expect United to be the Champions of England by next Month:)
Becoming European champions wouldn't hurt either.
