VDS
Brown Rio Vida Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Hargreaves Park
Rooney Tevez

This was a win which United fully deserved although Reading had their moments. Our defence? Simply exceptional! Look at Vidicās tackle to deny Kitson, Ferdinandās clearance when VDS was out of his goal, VDSās great save and Carrick stealing important balls at the end of the game. Our attackers had a great approach to the game but the finishing was ridiculous. All
Ronaldoās shots were off target and so were
Rooneyās, but in the end they were our saviours with two fine strikes.

So the first half was quite eventful although it finished 0-0. The most notable attempt was Hargreavesās freekick which was saved superbly. The second half had more attempts and if it wasnāt for some brave defending we could have been a goal down when Rooney scored. The goal came about when Tevez played in Rooney who sneaked in between two defenders and parried the ball past Hahnemann. Reading huffed and puffed but couldnāt blow our defence away instead Ronaldo sealed the game with a cool finish.
It was a great game at the back and a great midfield display by Carrick. Park disappointed me to be honest. I canāt understand why Ferguson doesn't start Nani. We scored 3 goals vs Newcastle when he was introduced in the game and today we scored another 2. He is surely influential.
After all we got our 3 points and weāre still up there, where we belong!
Next Match vs Tottenham for the FA Cup, bring them on :D
Ratings - Vds-7, Brown-7, Ferdinand-7, Vidic-8, Evra-6, Ronaldo-7, Carrick-7, Hargreaves-7, Park-5, Rooney-7, Tevez-7. (Giggs-6, Nani-6, Fletcher-6)
We put an awful lot into the game and tested them to the end.
But the quality of Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo proved too much.
