An excellent display against a side that's doing quite well this season. Mata, Bailly, Valencia and Martial were superb. Martial answered a lot of critics and if Mourinho demanded a "magnificent" display for him to start the next game, then our manager got exactly that. It's been a start-stop season for Anthony so I hope he can build on today's performance. Man of the match.

I was also impressed with Bailly today. Defending is natural to him, he's sooo calm on the ball and manages to start attacks from the back. Reminds me a bit of Rio. Can't say that he was really missed when he was at the African Cup of Nations because Jones and Rojo played impeccably but it's good to have him back. 

Another star performer today, Mata, had a great first half. He was involved in every action during the first 45 minutes a scored a very well worked goal. He also created some chances for his team mates but the likes of Ibra, Ander and Mhki had little joy in front of goal today. 

Finally, I'd like to mention the rejuvenated Antonio Valencia. What an athlete. He was still running at a 1000 miles per hour on the 75th minute. I wish I had half of his stamina. One of our best players this season.

Watford were set out to frustrate us by defending in numbers...just like most teams do nowadays at Old Trafford. After missing a few chances I thought it was going to be this season's same old story of when we play at home. Thankfully, we got the break at a good time and from then on I never doubted our players. Some of the football played after our first goal was a joy to watch. Today's win keeps us two points behind Arsenal as we finally overtake Liverpool for the first time this season. Our advantage over our friends from Merseyside may only last a few hours though as they are about to play Spurs. Whatever happens in that game, it will still be good news for us.
