God that was poor. We were outplayed and outclassed by Liverpool tonight. We could have lost tonight's game by 5  goals if it wasn't for De Gea. Liverpool managed to work their way through our poor defence a lot of times and made De Gea produce 3 or 4 world class saves. Ironically though, the goals they scored weren't the result of a brilliant Liverpool move but some poor defending from our end. Memphis gave away a stupid penalty which was converted by Strurridge. Then Carrick failed to clear an easy cross and Firmino finished Henderson's cross. Poor. Very very very very poor.

I cannot really complain. Liverpool deserved to win. Our players looked lethargic with the exception of Fellaini who looked like he was actually trying to do something. Martial, Memphis and Rashford were anonymous. Our defending was atrocious at times. I don't really believe we stand a chance in this tie. We only had one shot at goal and it was super easy for Mignolet. What makes us think that we will be able to create loads of chances at Old Trafford while keeping Liverpool at bay? If we concede a goal on Thursday we'd have to score 4! We'll see what happens but I'm really not optimistic.

West Ham next. Just fuckin give the FA Cup a go. Give us a reason to cheer. This season has been sooooo tiring. I just can't wait till it's over and then hopefully start a new leaf in August.
