In reality this match mattered little for our team and was quite important for Chelsea. Chelsea tried harder and were eventually rewarded with a late goal. It wasn't the best of games. 

Our players didn't look motivated. The importance of Michael Carrick to our team was shown today. Cleverley and Anderson were all over the place. They just couldn't get a grip hold of the midfield area. That's an area we need to strengthen during the summer. If Carrick gets injured, we'd be in deep trouble. 

Our central defenders were probably the best performers today. On the other hand, none of the other outfield players impressed me. With the title wrapped up, Fergie must be finding it quite difficult to motivate the players. 

We'll be playing Swansea next Sunday, that's when the Premier League trophy returns home. Until then, I've got a shitload of school work to do.
