United 4 - 0 Hull City
VDS
Rafael Rio Evans Evra(Fabio)
Nani Scholes(Gibson) Fletcher Park
Owen(Berbatov) Rooney
FOUR goals by Wayne Rooney put United back at the top of the table. It was a great performance from the lads but we spurned too many chances. Rooney scored the first 7 minutes into the match and scored the other three goals in the last 10 minutes of the game. Most of the players did well today except for Owen who managed to miss a couple of decent chances.
Rooney was the man of the match because of the 4 goals but Nani wasn't far behind. He put in perhaps the best display in a United shirt since his move from Lisbon and was a constant menace to Hull's back four. Scholes was another player who stood out today. He made the midfield his and most of United's attacks were built on Scholes's pin point passes.
It was good to see Rio at the back of our defence again. He had a good game as United managed to keep another clean sheet. With the four goals scored, United are now level on goal difference with Arsenal and Chelsea.
Next match is vs City, Manchester City, if we play like we did during the last few games we'd definitely beat them and shut that Argentinian prick up.
