Wayne Rooney had a part to play in every goal as he atoned for an error to inspire United to a 3-1 victory over Hull. He scored 0ne and created three, one of them was Hull's temporary equaliser. Berbatov was the other United goal scorer while Dawson put the ball in his own net.

United didn't play well at all. Vidic and Rooney were the players who stood out in this encounter. I watched this game at a Pub in Manchester, but to be honest I was quite disappointed with the atmosphere. Maybe most of the people present were City supporters...
