Berbatov IN, Saha & Campbell OUT...
So finally United have signed Dimitar Berbatov for £31m. His transfer saga lasted for the whole 3 months of the Summer and because of him and of course Ronaldo I have wasted a lot of time checking every football website every morning to see if Berba joined United or if Ronaldo left United. Luckily Ronaldo stayed with United and Berba has just joined. Berba will now join the likes of Tevz, Rooney & Ronaldo to form what appears to be a deadly attacking front. Time will tell. Welcome Berbatov!
On the other hand Frazier Campell has been loaned out to Tottenham as part of the deal that brought Berba to Old Trafford. A year at White Hart Lane will surely be of great benefit to Campbell who should rejoin United after this season ends.
Meanwhile Saha has been sold to Everton for an undisclosed fee. This brought to an end a 4 and a half year Man Utd career for the Frenchman. The 30-year-old netted 42 goals in 124 appearances. Injuries dominated during these 4 and a half years and in the last 2 seasons he barely played for United let alone score a handful of goals. Which is what a striker is meant to do! Anyway goodluck to Saha...
