United 2 - 0 West Ham

Kuz
Rafael (Neville) Rio Vida Evra
Ronaldo Fletcher(Carrick) Anderson Nani(Rooney)
Berbatov Tevez
Back to winning ways thanks to 2 goals by Ronaldo. The second was assisted by Berbatov after showing sheer brilliance to get past the Hammer's defender.
The first half was a joy to watch but the second half was dull. United stepped down a gear and strolled through the game without much difficulty.
Things are looking bright. Rooney's confidence is sky high, Berbatov is fitting in nicely and Carrick is back. The only negative was Tevez's poor performance, I hope he starts again next Saturday and gets a morale boosting goal. Next match vs Hull, they might be flying but I still expect a win.

Everton 1 - 1 United

VDS
Brown Rio Vida Evra
Ronaldo Giggs Fletcher(Tevez) Park(Anderson)
Rooney(Nani) Berbatov

As the saying goes, this was a match of two halfs. United outplayed Everton in the first half meanwhile during the second half United had to taste the bitter taste of their own medicine. Fletcher, who in my opinion had an excellent game along side Giggs, opened the scoring with a brilliant run into box and a fine finish. United could have increased the margin but saves from Howard kept the score to just 1 nil. A scoreline which is never safe, something we learned about in the second half when constant pressure by Everton resulted into a goal. A goal which Everton deserved.

The defence didn't have the best of matches. Vidic made some clumsy tackles, Rio wasn't focused at all, Evra failed to clear crosses and Brown who was the best defender out of the four committed some stupid mistakes. Berbatov played well in the first half while Rooney had a quiet match. But let's face it, the best moment of the match was provided by Rooney yet again. That is when he kissed the Manchester United crest. Class.

One last word. I really feel sorry for Tevez. He doesn't look happy at the Club and he doesn't deserve the situation he is in at the moment. I hope he starts a couple of matches in the foreseeable future before it's too late and we lose a player worthy of his price tag, a player who nowadays is difficult to find.

United 3 - 0 Celtic

VDS
Neville(Brown) Rio Evans O'Shea
Ronaldo(Park) Fletcher Anderson Nani
Berbatov(Tevez) Rooney

Another positive display by United, who outplayed Celtic from the start till the final whistle. Berbatov scored a brace while Rooney cleverly scored a fine goal from outside the penalty area. Just like the Celtic coach stated, we are looking like a team capable of defending the title we won last year.

To be honest, Berbatov's goals look dubious but no one can deny the fact that United deserved to win against a lacklustre Celtic side. Apart from the result, another positive from this match was young Johnny Evans's performance. Surely a performance that augurs well for United's future.

Our next match is vs Everton at Goodison Park. We have done quite well at this stadium in the past so I predict a win. Fingers crossed...

United 4 - 0 WBA

Van der Sar;
Rafael (Neville 65), Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra (O'Shea 36);
Ronaldo, Fletcher, Giggs, Park (Nani 70);
Berbatov, Rooney

What a game! United produced the best performance of the season with free flowing football that just left the WBA players mesmerized. Rooney was once again at his menacing best. Another exciting display which will have United fans purring. Thwarted by Scott Carson on several occasions and had a goal harshly disallowed, but scored one and set up two more in the second half. Ronaldo, Nani and Berbatov also got their names on the scoresheet, what more could we ask for?!

WBA aren't a classy side, I admit, but United's play was simply outstanding in the second half. Rooney, 9 goals in 6 matches for club and country, is beginning to show his true colours. Ronaldo is getting to his best again, Fletcher had a great match, the defence was rock solid and Berbatov got a morale boosting goal.

United's next match is vs Celtic in the Champions League. Another performance like todays' should do the trick.

Blackburn 0 - 2 United

Van der Sar;
Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra (O'Shea 71);
Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs (Tevez 66);
Rooney (Park 77), Ronaldo, Berbatov.

Another win, another clean sheet and another step towards the top spot, where we truely belong. United could have scored 5 today but Tevez was denied by the post, Giggs had a screamer saved by the Blackburn keeper while Ronaldo and Fletcher missed from ideal positions. United got ahead thanks to a header by Brown. Quite a controversial goal given the fact that Vidic elbowed the Blackburn keeper, but right now lady luck seems to be smiling at us. The second goal had class written all over it. Great through ball by Brown, great run by Ronaldo and an unstoppable strike by the in-form Rooney. Exceptional!

Rooney is really showing his true colours. His performances in the past few weeks, namely since his performance against Croatia, have upped. I really enjoy it when Rooney scores, I just don't know why. Berbatov showed glimpses of the footballing genius everbody says he is and the back four were rock solid once again. Everything is seemingly clicking and United may be reaching their true potential.

Our next match is vs WBA in a fortnight. Meanwhile my eyes will turn on England, I hope they win. The win against Croatia has really got me excited and looking forward to more mind blowing performances like that. Speaking with United's interest on my mind, I hope no United player gets injured during this international break.
